I know this is not my regular postings. Please be patient. Tomorrow will be back to the regular programming!
๐ Day 14 ๐
There is not much to report on day 14. We just drove all day, enjoyed the scenery and arrived at our destination in the late afternoon. There we discovered that the coming weekend is a long holiday, so the prices increases from Friday. A search for a cheaper campsite ensued! We did find a cheaper one, but we will have to inspect it first!
๐ Day 15 ๐
We woke at 3:30am for a drive to the Kruger National Park. Iโve been there before and wanted to go show my husband all the beauty of nature and all the animals there. We entered the gates just after 6:00amโฆand saw nothing as we drove down the roads. We did see some buck, but they are a dime a dozen. I wanted to see the real animals. The big 5!
As the morning dragged on, I was fretting that weโve wasted a day to see animals that didnโt exist. But our luck changed when we saw our first elephant. The first of many for the day. There are lots and lots of elephants in the park. We eventually just drove past! There were just too many!
The highlight of the day was when we came around a corner. A lioness was strolling down the road. Like the road belonged to her! She did look a bit old, but it was still amazing to see a lion! It was the only lion we saw during the day.
Like all things that are being enjoyed, the day rushed past. We saw lots of animals. Elephants, hippoโs, all sorts of bucks, bluewildebeest, a buffalo, water turtles, various kind of birds, two small hyenaโs lying right next to the road and of course monkeys and baboons.
Too quickly the day was over and we were on our way home! Of the big 5 we did see 3 of them eventually. We didnโt see a rhino or a leopard. For the day I was the photographer and not the model! But all in all a great day.
๐ Day 13 ๐
So the number 13 is considered an unlucky number. Why it is believed that the number 13 is unlucky, is wide and varied. So it is with a heavy heart that I realized waking up, that today is the 13th day of our trip. There has been some amazing things happening on this trip, so I could only imagine what the unlucky 13th day could have up itโs sleeve. Monsoons, tornadoes, maybe the odd earthquake or two! So to give the 13th day some extra time to toy and play with us, we left very early in the morning. โTempting fateโ, now being our new motto.
It was cold and misty as we drove out of the campsite. The first few hundred meters went fine. We cleared the gate of the camp and all four wheels was still connected to the truck. The first few kilometer passed without incident. No monsoons. No tornadoes. No earthquakes yet. Just wait, we said. Give it time. It is coming. We were listening to every sound the truck made. We looked at the skies with big eyes. And then it happenedโฆ
The dark and brooding skies parted and the sun came out in all itโs glory, basking me in itโs warmth for the first time in so many days. After the last few days of just cloudy skies, my vitamin D levels were running low. Taking my top of and basking in the the rays of the sun, I replenished my vitamin D levels (and warmed my boobs)! The skies were deep blue, the photoshoots were awesome. It turned out to be a glorious day for us.
No problems, no troubles, no monsoons, no tornadoes and not even a tremor of an earthquake. Everything went smooth. We arrived at our next camp early and to top it all off, we spend a glorious hour in a hot spa! 13 is now my new lucky numberโฆ
Have an awesome day everyone

๐ Day 12 ๐
Due to no internet reception at the camp, our first order of the day was to find a place with Wifi so that we can post at least. We found a place in a small town. There we sat down, had coffee, breakfast and posted for the day. It took much longer than expected, so when we did get on the road again it was late morning already! ๐ฒ We only had one photoshoot the whole day!
But as always, it never is easy. The vehicle has developed a โshimmyโ or a โwhobbleโ felt on the steering wheel. We suspected it was due to balancing weights being lost on the โditch episodeโ a few days ago. A long discussion ensued about whether to continue or had the wheels repaired. We did decide to repair the wheels and diverted to a big town that would have a place to balance the wheels. But for us it is never so easyโฆ
When arriving at the Wheel Alignment shop, it was closed! Permanently. Out of business. So we had to search again and on the second try we got lucky. We found a place to balance the wheels. The wheel balancing went well, but then out luck prevailed!!! They couldnโt get the truck to come down back to the ground. The lift was stuck! No matter what they did, they could not get the lift to come back down. We just stood awestruck at the scene of the truck stuck in the air. The question was: โWhere were we going to sleep?โ. More and more personnel gathered around the lift, each one with his or herโs own idea on how to get the truck back to the ground. With a lot of prodding, showing and kicking they got the lift to come down. We were saved!
But by now it was nearly dark and we couldnโt find a place to sleep. The one place we did get a hold of, just refused to let us in. We called them โtoo lateโ apparently. So we drove through the dark night fearing of potholes, cattle, sheep, dogs, chicken, goats and geese walking in the road. The roads here are very bad, with potholes as deep as a mineshaft! So because of that, we hate traveling at night. But now we didnโt have a choice. Through the night we drove to the only camp we knew that would be open when we arrive. But we made it safely, pitched camp in record time, had a cup of tea (not even a beer) and went to bed!!!
Have a great day everyone!

๐ Nonnie got Caught ๐
On the very first day, on the very first photoshoot, I got caught while rubbing sunscreen all over my breasts!!! My husband was making a video of it and he was so concentrating on me and what I did, he never saw a big truck coming! He got such a fright, he stopped the video! And then started it again! And then stopped it again! And then started it again๐ฒ. He might be a good photographer, but he is not a good videographer! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
In any case, I spliced the videos together and the result is OK I think! My words at the end of the video:
"I've been caught You owe me a diner now"

๐ Day 10 and Day 11 ๐
Sorry for the late posting. We had no reception last night!
๐ Day 10 ๐
We took the day off and did as little as possible. We just quickly drove to town to have my broken nail fixed, went back to camp and relaxed the rest of the day. The evening we had a picnic in front of a fireplace and fell asleep in front of the crackling fire.
๐ Day 11 ๐
Just after 3am my husband was up and already packing up the camp! He was very eager to move on! We had some coffee to get warm and early in the morning we were on our way! The thing is, we didnโt know where we were going. All we knew is that we were going north. We pointed the truckโs nose north and just stated driving.
We were very lucky and had 3 good photoshoots very early. It was freezing cold and very misty. But I braved the cold like a polar bear! The problem was that with the photoshoots the going was very slow. As the afternoon arrived, we were still close to ou departure point! On a day we wanted to cover a lot of ground, we were covering very little! But that is just the nature of our travels.
By 2pm we started looking for camping groundsโฆand couldnโt find any! I searched, I phoned, I worried but still nothing was found. I found a camping ground, but I couldnโt phone them. The phone just went dead when I dialed. Our of desperation we just drove there in the hopes that we will find a place to sleepโฆthere was nothing there!!! I started searching again and just after 4pm I got hold of a camping ground! We rushed there at breakneck speed (90 km/hr๐ ๐), and got there just before sunset. Setting camp was quick and we spend the night next to a roaring fire, sipping some whiskey, chatting the night away.
Have a great day everyone!

2009
So we took the day off yesterday and took no photos. This is to show a comparison of the same waterfall over the years.
The first photo was in 2009. This was the first time we drove up Sani's Pass with our very first 4x4. The little vehicle didn't even have low range, but it made it up the mountain...eventually ๐ !
This was even before my implants. In the days I was still y0ung and didn't want to take off my blouse. In my defense, at this stage I was still very scared of being caught. Now...not so much ๐๐๐.
2015
A few years later we did it again, but this time with a proper 4x4 with low range. It was a little Jimny and of course it drove up the pass like a little champ!
This was in the summer months and there are lots more water in the summer here!
It was also the first photos taken here with my implants. At this stage I had my implants for about 2 years.
2022
In the winter months there are a lot less water running our of the mountain. I thought it would be more, but was surprised by what I saw! I thought the snow on the mountains would melt in the sun and melt the snow. I guess I was wrong! ๐ Live and learn.
The photo of me in the boots was just us playing around!!! ๐๐๐
I promise it will be the last photos of a waterfall for a while! ๐
A short video of me playing in the water.
I'm more of a photo model, not a video model, so please excuse my awkwardness. As we make more videos I'm sure I will become better.
๐ Day 9 ๐
Friday is a day to relax and not work too had. For that reason we went to a small waterfall that we missed yesterday. The place is called the โFountain of Youthโ. I sat in the water for the whole morning, but when I got up my knees still creaked! I think that name is a lie ๐ ! We did just one photoshoot for the whole day. The water was freakinโ cold. I was red when I got out of the water. But the redness was not from the cold, I think it was because I got caught three times by cyclists that you canโt hear coming down the road. All three of them got an eyeful of me in the water! One even waved at me. Iโm just glad none of them had an accident, from fright of seeing me topless in the water. I hope I made their dayโฆat least!
After getting into dry clothes, we drove to the shops to refill our liquor supply, especially beer, and of course food. Once all that was done, we had an awesome lunch in a old hotel. The food was amazing and we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. After the leisurely lunch, we went to the camp and relaxed for the rest of the day.
I hope you all have an amazing weekend.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐ฅถ Frozen (on day 8) ๐ฅถ
So 4 years ago we drove up the pass and came to a frozen waterfall. As we drove up today, we stopped at the waterfall again. It was so much more magnificent than the last time.
They must have had good rains, because the was much more water frozen. The add to the scene, it snowed the night before. There was a sprinkling of snow on top so the ice. It looked amazing!
I've decide to put a photo by photo comparison of the two photoshoot. The old photos is me wearing the blue dress. The red skirt is the latest photos! And today I wore boots. I didn't want to take a tumble on the ice and snow and break my legs!!! ๐
๐ Day 8 ๐
All in all it was an amazing day. The only problem the whole day was calves that came to visit in the early morning and damaged the gazebo. Nothing major, just an inconvenience. The rest of the day was absolutely amazing.
We drove up Saniโs Pass at a slow and leisurely pace. We had a great lunch at one of the picnic sites along the route. Itโs been a long time since weโve been here, and the bottom of Saniโs Pass up until the South African border post has been tarred. It make for a quick and easy drive. Itโs only the last 7 kilometers that is still gravel and a bit of a challenge.
We woke up this morning with a view of the snow on the mountain. By the time we got to the top, some of the snow has already started to melt. So, on the top of the pass there was some snow, but not too much. I again posed at the frozen waterfall and this time it was not as cold as the first time. On the trip down the pass, we had a nice beer at an awesome lookout spot. Sorry, we had coffee, not beer ๐ .
On the way down, we had savoury pancakes and cheesecake at a small coffee shop. The pancakes were awesome, the cheesecake was not the best! I've had better cheesecake! We arrived back at camp tired, but satisfied and just glad the gazebo is still standing!
๐ Day 7 ๐
There is only one word to describe our 7th dayโฆa disaster!! A disaster of epic proportions! It started early in the morning. While I was putting away the camp chairs, the leg of one of the chairs hit the laptop screen! It made a big scratch over the screen. I was devastated by what happened to the laptop. We can still use the screen, but the scratch is like a magnet for your eye! ๐
We has a nice breakfast in a little town and I thought the day was only going to improve. Boyโฆwas I wrong. Driving in the rain on a gravel road, there was suddenly a big ditch in the road. We hit the ditch at a fair speed, so fast the the front suspension bottomed out. We hit so hard the three teeth that is left in my mouth rattled. I grabbed the dashboard with both hands and I was just glad the airbag did deploy and ruined my make-up! My husband immediately stopped and inspected the vehicle for damage in the rain๐ง. But it had to be done. There was luckily no major damageโฆor so we thought!! Keep reading this exiting episodeโฆ
We continued driving and eventually the rain stopped. The upside of the day was that we drove through some spectacular mountain scenery. It was really our of this world.
Late in the afternoon, we had a beer at our destination in a hotel bar. Here we chatted for a while before going to our campsite. It is here, after the camp has been set up, that the next disaster came to light. Here we discovered the real damage done by the ditch!
We have a drawer system in the truck. It slides out from under the bed, and here we pack most of our kitchen stuff and food. As I tried to open the drawer, it didnโt budge. It was solidly stuck. And the food for the night was there. I saw vision of going to bed hungry, tired and thirsty! Checking on what happened, we saw that salt pot got stuck between the lid and the bed. Using a long bar, we tried to get the salt pot unstuck. Struggling for half an hour, we eventually got the sliding drawer to open. We were elated. Butโฆit opened only halfway and got stuck again ๐ก. Checking again we saw that the culprits this time was a plastic bowl and the Rum bottle. Pulling and prodding the got the door opened at last. The plastic bowl was destroyed in the process, but Iโm happy to report we saved the Rumโฆthat we promptly drank after this ordeal ๐ฅ!
It was dark, the day was over, the bed was made and I thought the disasters of the day was over. Then the biggest disaster of the day happenedโฆI spilled my Rum!!! ๐ฒ
๐ Day 6 ๐
We had a lazy morning, not doing much at the camp. We were supposed to be on the road today, but we decided to stay a day longer on a whim. So we relaxed and made a soup that turned out to be a stew instead. I forgot my cooking skills at home. ๐ As the day got warmer, we went for a walk. We bought ice creams and ate it next to a small river. It was beautiful here are the water was crystal clear and freezing cold. My poor feet pained from the cold when I sat with my feet in the river! I think it is called โglamour model abuseโ. ๐ฅถ We did get some stunning photos however. .
Later the day we walked to the โcascadesโ. It is the river flowing over the rocks and it makes for a stunning view. We misjudged the time of day and the distance to walk. By the time we arrived it was late in the afternoon, with little sunlight left. We did the best we can, and the photos came out fairly well. We also sat next to the cascades and had a beer and snacks...again! ๐ป We waited until the last minute and started the long walk back to camp. It was getting dark fast and my husband at one stage said: โI think we might have misjudged the timing!โ. After a brisk walk in the fading light, we made it back just before dark!
๐ Dag 5.1 ๐
For the first time in 5 days, I can report that we had an awesome day. No problems, no challenges, no hiccups, just loads of fun! The reason for this nice day was that we visited our honeymoon hotel. In this hotel we started our honeymoon 29 years, 7 months and 20 days ago. A lifetime ago by any measure.
The hotel is now in ruins due to closing down about 4 years after we visited there. Weโve been back before, but this time we had more time to explore than the previous visit. We spend 5 to 6 hours exploring, taking photos and just reminiscing on the past. We had breakfast in the exact same spot we had breakfast 29 years ago. The table and chairs were not as fancy as in those days, but the food was just as delicious. ๐ ๐
๐ Day 5.2 ๐
After breakfast, I decided to take a bath!! I got our of the bath more dirty that getting in ๐๐. There are tens of baths lying scattered about the ruin. It seem like when they abandoned the hotel, they wanted to recover some of the money. The other option is that looters wanted to steal the baths, but they were driven off. It is just weird! ps Yes I know I'm wearing too much clothes in the bath!! ๐
๐ Day 5.3 ๐
Then we decided to take a swim, but we were afraid of the monsters in the green water! I think if you fall into this swimming pool, you will get at least 3945 types of viruses and bacteria. At least you wonโt get Covid! Not even Covid will survive in this water! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ It is so sad to think that this was once a crystal clear swimming pool where thousands of people enjoyed themselves.
๐ Day 5.4 ๐
We found our old room where we stayed in 29 years ago. My husband had no idea where it was, but after racking my brains and playing an eliminations game, I remembered what room we had! Lot of fun was had in this room 29 years ago! ๐ ๐ For my birthday present my brother bought me a stunning negligee that I seduced my husband with everydayโฆuntil it got stolen! Dammit!!!
This was the cheap room on the hotel grounds. We did not have enough money to stay in the fancy rooms in the hotel. ๐ฒ
๐ Day 5.5 ๐
Late in the afternoon we had a picnic at a tranquil little dam. We sat on a wooden bridge and had beer, some beef jerky and snacks. It was really beautiful there with the trees reflecting on the water.
All in all an awesome day!
It was an awesome day to end the day!
Day 4
On my birthday, I slept in a bit. I am now 49 years old and need a lot of beauty sleep! But my husband says it will never be enough! When I eventually got up, we had a breakfast of the previous nightโs left overs. After that I got dressed for a planned birthday lunch. Even my husband dressed up in a suit and tieโฆ Ok, my husband doesn't even own a suit and tie!! The best I could do was to get him into jeans for the occasion. The only nice place to eat was called the โPizza Towerโ a few miles away. And I like pizza, so it was going to be perfect.
As we arrived at the pizza place, there were a lot of cars there already. We walked around the place and couldnโt find an open door leading to a restaurant. We eventually decided to try and open doors and maybe weโll find the restaurant. The first door we opened was the right oneโฆbut we were greeted with tens of faces staring at us. The place was packed! Not an open seat in the house! Sheepishly we closed the door and walked away. When will we ever have an easy day???
Back in the truck, we searched franticly for some other place to go and have a birthday meal. At that stage I was even considering a McDonalds drive through! We eventually found a place a few miles away, and of we went. The drive was a scenic and beautiful drive through the mountains. We arrived at a small roadside diner that only served toasted sandwiches! No nice meal for me on my birthday!! Or so I thought.
After inquiring about an restaurant, we were informed that there is a restaurant, but we canโt sit inside because they were preparing for a big group op people that will arrive later the day. After some negotiations, it was decided that we can have our meals outside. So a bottle of wine was ordered while we waited for our meals. It was quite nice sitting in the sun on a cold winterโs day, sipping a glass of wine. Eventually our meals arrived, and it was the best meal Iโve had in a very long time. It was absolutely divine.
After the best birthday lunch ever, we drove back to the camp. At the camp we made a fire and sat around it nice and warm and chatted the night away. All in all a very awesome birthday after all!
๐ Day 3 ๐
It was a very lazy waking up morning. Neither of us wanted to get out of bed, but eventually we had to. I went to the bathrooms to get ready for the day. The day started disastrous!
I once read on the internet that hair dryers runs on smoke. If the smoke escapes from the hair dryer, it stops working. Well, that happened this morning. Smoke escaped from the hair dryer and it stopped working! Proof that the internet never lies!!! ๐๐๐ So our whole morning was taken up with searching for a new hair dryer that still has all the smoke inside of it! After we found one, we had breakfast and we were on the road againโฆeventuallyโฆ Damn the smoke escaping from the hair dryer! Now Iโm having a bad hair day!
Our first photoshoot was next to the a main road. The road didnโt look too busy, so we took a chance. But as I sat down and took my top off, it became as busy as a highway on a Monday morning. โBut now one will lookโ, my husband said. And as he said it I got caughtโฆagain! So far on this trip Iโve been caught 3 times. That make me eligible for starters, mains and desert as my reward. Awesome!!!
But like all our trips, there are never a shortage of drama. Weโve been calling the whole day for accommodation but the line was always busy. By late in the afternoon we eventually got hold of the campsite, just to be informed that they are closed! So a mild panic ensued. There were not a lot of camping sites available. While my husband was driving, I started searching for alternatives. I did get an alternative campsite. Joy and happiness all around! But then we decided to just continue on to our next campsite. Our next camp site was much closer that either of us expected. So on we went. I called the campsite and they had a closing time. We would make it!!
With 30 minutes left before closing, we saw the gates of the camp site. Just one bridge to cross and we would be home freeโฆ
The bloody bridge was closed!!!! It was damaged! We had to backtrack and take an alternative route. The fun just never ends with us!! Time was running out!! We rushed back, but the going was tough. The roads are very bad with huge pot holes and big stretches of tar missing! Eventually we were on the alternative routeโฆ It was going to be closeโฆ We made it with minutes to spare. But we made it. That is all that counts!
Hit and run!!!
In this video I nearly got run over by my husband. He was coming to pick me up role playing as a topless hitch hiker!! I thought he was joking and never realized he was looking at the camera and not where he was driving!!! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
No harm, no foul!!
๐ Day 2 ๐
It was a cold night in Wakkerstroom, but we slept nice and warm due to our trusty electrical blanket. Lying in bed, chatting about how nice and warm we slept, we realized it was the same blanket we bought for our very first trip to Wakkerstroom. The first time we visited the town was seven years ago! Driving to the town seven years ago, we realized it would be very cold, so we stopped on our way there and bought the electric blanket we are still using today.
We were lucky to have the forethought to buy that blanketโฆ It saved our lives!! otherwise we would still be lying there as popsicles!!๐ฅถโ Frozen for all eternity!!๐๐๐ The fact of the matter is that 7 years ago, we only slept in a little blue tent and it was much colder then than now. A tragedy happened today in that a bottle of orange soda leaked on the blanket while driving. Luckily the blanket survived, hopefully to last another seven years.
Our first photoshoot was against a hill in glorious sunshine. It was so nice to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin. It was a nice hot morning after the cold night. We drove at a leisurely pace thought the mountains enjoying beautiful views all around. We also had a hour and a half lunch at one of this beautiful views, right next to the road. It was here that three motorcyclist drove past us, on their big off road motorcycles. We would m33t them again laterโฆ
We discovered a small waterfall, but could use it for photos! The motorcyclist were also there. And they wouldnโt leaveโฆ because one of the bikes was stuck in the mud!!! ๐คฃ (Iโm laughing with them, not at them!). They obliviously tried to have fun and one of them took it a bit too far! We wanted to help very badly, but there was no way to get the truck in such a position that we could pull the bike out of the mud. With a concerted effort from all three, they got the bike free. The poor machine was covered in mud!!!
The rest of the afternoon passes uneventful. We arrived at out next camping site late in the afternoon. Here the day said goodbye with a glorious sunset. What a way to end the day!!
Have a great day everyone

My Marilyn Monroe Video
We tried to take photos today at a particular windy spot, so it didn't work. But the way the wind lifted my skirt made for a good video.
Sorry about the shaking of the video. Either my husband was very exited taking the video, or the wind was too strong, or the anti-shake mode was disabled on the phone! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐ Day 1 ๐
At 3am on a winterโs morning, we were lying both awake, eager to start the trip. I was feeling a bit sick, so a long discussion ensued about whether we must go or not. In the end, I decided Iโm strong and tough and will survive. So the decision was made to go.
At 6am we were on the road!! We were so excited. But first we had to refuel the vehicle. After filling the tank, we excitedly started our epic journey!! But then I noticed that we were driving home again. Confused I asked him why we are going home! โWe forgot the Gazeboโ he said!! We forgot one of the most important items of our camping equipment. ๐ฒ
After loading the gazebo, we were on the road again! Hopefully this time we wonโt have to turn around again! We drove a long way before we had our first photoshoot in a corn field. Here I got caught rubbing sunscreen over my breasts!!! ๐ We also discovered some ruins later in the day in a small town. Here and angry old lady and two men came to confront us. She was concerned about the strange vehicle parked there because theyโve had lot of problems in the town. She and the two men also caught me topless. Caught twice in one day. A new record!
The rule is every time I get caught, my husband must buy me a meal at a restaurant. For being caught twice in one day, I can pick a very expensive restaurant! ๐
When we arrived at our planned camping spot, my husband did not feel comfortable sleeping there. So we decided to push on to the next planned camping spot. So on our first day, thing didnโt go as planned already! But that's the way we roll. We arrived at the camping spot just before sunset. All in all it worked out for the best!
๐ Destinations ๐
Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations
Good morning everyone. Today we're leaving on a two week trip to take some new photos. I will try and post as regular as I can, but please forgive me if I don't.
On this trip we will try to take some lingerie photos๐ฒ๐ I don't know how that successful that will be but we will try our best.
Thanks so much for understanding.
๐ชLife's Doors๐ช
Taken in the middle of a town. This ruin is in the town of Nieu-Bethesda. It is a pretty little town on the middle of nowhere in the Karoo. The most famous house in the town is called the "Owl House".
The house belonged to Helen Martins, who created many cement owls with glass bottom eyes. Driven to despair by the dullness of her daily life, she took steps to transform her world with light, colour and texture.
Helen created the owls, mermaids, camel and pilgrims between 1945 and 1976. At the age of 78, crippled with arthritis and in suffering increased loss of vision, Helen took her own life.

This is a ruin in the mountains close to Sabie. As you know I love ruins. It is just the perfect place to pose and dream of who lived there.
Have a great day everyone.
I love sitting on rocks. It makes me feel like a rock star ๐ . Just kidding. We have been to this nature reserve very often, and still there was places that we found that made amazing backgrounds for photos. Instead of driving, go for a walk. You will discover so many new places!
That is the one thing that the photos has taught us more than anything else. You can never tire of nature. The same place will differ from season to season. A place you think you know well, will one day surprise you with something you've been missing all along!
