***2/6 — BTS ( Behind The Scenes )*** Because I am somewhat limited to the locations I shoot in ( my bedroom - I currently share a house with roommates who are almost always home ), it’s pretty challenging to get that good angle or decent lighting, as there are only so many walls in my room, and I can’t always take advantage of shooting elsewhere in the house, since I rather not have my friends find out the type of work I do few doors down from their bedrooms - yet anyways 🙈

***3/6 — BTS ( Behind The Scenes )*** There is also no natural light entering my room, so even though I have a pretty decent camera on my phone, sometimes the content doesn’t turn out as hoped, leaving me to edit 10x longer, than someone with great natural lighting and professional equipment.

***4/6 — BTS ( Behind The Scenes )*** One very generous fan funded a ring light quite a few months back, and it’s been on the back-burner since then. Partially due to how incredibly busy I’ve been at my other ( vanilla ) jobs, to me trying to “get rid” of some of the content I have stockpiled on my computer over the months, so that I can make content with the new light, and partially also because I am dreading to read the instructions manual for the light 😅 But yes, I will soon be looking into setting up the ring light and praying that it works!! Probably in June, as this month is pretty hectic for me. Really anxious to find out how much better my content could get! 🤩

***5/6 — BTS ( Behind The Scenes )*** Majority of what I edit in my photos, is: • lighting / colour correction • visual imbalances within the frame / wrong proportions due to camera angles • slight imperfections like skin discolourations ( for some reason this camera brings it out much more than what it looks like in person - I’ll have to play with the settings to see if I can fix it ) • adding watermark / logo — Editing video content is a different animal. It may be more forgiving than still images, but it’s certainly just as time consuming, making sure the visuals and audio are working fine, having to edit out certain frames, or blurring of accidental face reveals, crediting the musical artists for the sound and adding my watermark. All of this requires for me to watch the videos multiple times, making sure I didn’t miss anything and of course, the longer the video ( and the higher the quality ), the heavier the file, the more time consuming it becomes to watch, edit, export and upload! I also make copies of my content with and without watermarks, keeping non watermarked media in my storage, in case I decide to change my brand one day. So it takes extra time to save all of that 🤓

***6/6 — BTS ( Behind The Scenes )*** I never use any Ai filters in my content, but I do edit out some minor imperfections manually as mentioned in my previous post. One of those imperfections that I constantly see myself editing out, are my veins in my breasts, especially the one on my left boob. I have very pale skin, so it shows through a lot and I don’t feel that it’s aesthetically pleasing, so I get rid of it. But the thing is, it’s part of my body, so why do I do that? Have I too been brainwashed by beauty standards in the media? Some lighting is more harsh in photos than others, and because I’m extremely picky about what I post, I take hours upon hours to edit just a few images. Everything needs to be perfect, right? With that said, I think I will need to work on being slightly more accepting, kind and forgiving to some of the features of my body, because honestly, I don’t think you would even mind nor notice, what *I* personally notice! I know that many of you aren’t here to *read*, but I also know that some of you enjoy learning more about me, so I try to share what I can! Thank you for reading this far! I hope it wasn’t a chore ☺️ — And lastly, it’s worth noting that the images in this photo set have NOT been edited in any way, other than lighting / colour correction. 📯 ***PSA*** Hey everyone, Sooo…today I found out that I got shingles. Yay! 😑 It started around Sunday night / Monday morning and has been progressing pretty fast since then. I found a painful lump on the side of my neck this morning, which prompted me to drop everything I was doing and rushed to see a doctor within the hour. Thankfully it’s at least something treatable and should resolve in about 3-4 weeks with the help of viral meds and some adequate rest. There is a breakout on my scalp for now ( hopefully won’t spread ) and I’ve been in extreme discomfort with the tortūrous itching that I cannot bear to touch, and pain…oof, the pain 😵 ***I realize that this isn’t a very sexy post, but I needed you to know that I will take today off from posting and feel terrible for the technical difficulties the other day as well. So tomorrow at some point, I will make a few posts, some of which will be with at least one longer video ( I will send it to your DMs as well 💕 ).*** ***I have also been planning to let you know that I will resume taking a limited amount of custom orders starting next week, but this too will have to wait for now, until further notice.*** I’m feeling extremely lethargic this very moment, writing to you from my bed, so I will try to get some rest now.
