We thought only the kitchen tile and one wall were affected, but after ripping up the tile, looks like some of the cabinets and the hardwood through most of the 1st floor might be too 😅 hopefully we can make use of this situation and film a contractor/homeowner roleplay 😆

Updates: Wellll, it's been a rough few days in the Monarch house lol. We currently have super loud fans and de-humidifiers running on this wall in the kitchen for the next 2 to 6 days. There were cracks in this pipe where the plumber thinks it was from the initial build 9 years ago. The wall/baseboard was miscalculated and was bowing where this pipe was. He thinks someone hammered the board/wall in like crazy to fit it and it cracked. Over time, I guess it finally decided to leak and here we are!
The floor is affected, so we will probably have to rip up the whole kitchen too. It's been a crazy 2 days, I'll tell you that lol. These machines are blasting 24/7, so it's been hard to sleep.
I got the lingerie in from the campaign, by the way! As soon as things calm down here and I can actually make a video and take some nice pics without these crazy loud machines going, I'll be sending the content out to those who donated towards it.
Just wanted to update you all :) Thanks for being patient with messages the last couple of days. I might be sending some more PPV recently to help with this process as homeowner's insurance sounds like they are going to be denying it as they don't cover leaks that could occur longer than 14 days ago, and not sure the builder will pick up the tab. I'm going to fight like hell, though lol. I mean, how the hell can you KNOW it didn't happen in the last 14 days when it's behind a wall with foam insulation? I only realized the baseboard was wet and discolored last week.
Ok, off my soapbox lol. If you made it this far, thanks for letting me vent LOL. I'll post sexy things now lol

What a day 😂 We went to a birthday party out in the country, and got stuck in a muddy ditch/creek in our 4-wheel-drive, big ass truck 😂 We ended up getting pulled out the second time we tried with our friend's truck and his dad's tractor 🤣 I thought we for sure would have needed a tow truck.
Poor Mr. Monarch. He has about 1000 mosquito bites from the creek, plus the party was all outside. I need to nurse him back to health. I'm sure he will be milking that for everything hahah.

Many don't know I actually used to be pretty sheltered back in the day. I was the goody-goody and would be the one telling my friends we shouldn't do something because we would get in trouble. I was a rule-follower. I loved getting good grades, even in college. Hell, I graduated at the top of my nursing class with 1 B ever in my college years.
