Just sit with me in the dark.
This is so appropriate now that we have 10 hours without power, (electricity), a day in South Africa. And I think it is just going to get worse in the week to come! Sitting in the dark has now become the “new normal” here 😅😂!
I'm sorry for being so quiet this weekend. We had family visiting and I was kept very busy with chatting, drinking and preparing food. I hope you all had a great weekend and rested well...ready for the week ahead.

I have to apologize but today's photos did once again not get posted by OnlyFans. To apologize, I will post my video only here. It is bad. It was VHS video! But see how "snobbish" I was then! 😅😂🤣
🧓 Throwback Thursday 🧓
Now this is going back many years. 30 years to be exact. This was my very, very, very first topless photoshoot. We were just married, we have just moved into our first house and my new husband wanted to take photos of me...it started then already 😜😅
There was a problem however. There were no digital cameras in those days. Only film...I’m old, I know 😉. And we were both too shy to have them developed! People will see! So what to do, what to do... We bought a video camera and took video of me. Then my husband digitised the video.
But the problem was that the quality of the video and photos were just so bad! It was 1993 and technology was almost non existed. Colour TV was a new thing for us 😅! We spend a lot of money, tried it once, and gave up 😲!! We had to wait 10 years for technology to give us the first digital camera. Only then did we try again!
And we still have the original video digitized. I watched it again this morning and nearly fell of my chair laughing! If you think I felt awkward yesterday with the lingerie shoot, you should watch the video. I didn’t smile once! I looked like a wooden doll! It is so hilarious to watch after all these years🤣🤣🤣!

An early winter’s morning just outside the town of Wakkerstroom. From here you could look down at the little down. We camped here at the old railway station. The old station building is now a pub with a few camping spots.
The station is about 3 kilometers out of town. It was constructed in 1910. The rails are not in use, it became a victim of the general decline of rail transport in South Africa. The station has been preserved as a restaurant and camping ground.
Now, why is the station so far out of town. When the first railway line was constructed from Durban to Johannesburg in 1895, the people of Wakkerstroom sent a petition saying that they don't want the line to come through Wakkerstroom. Reasons given was that "it would dirty their daughters, cause the chickens to stop laying and the cattle to have deformed off-springs".
Later they regretted the decision and re-approached the railways, the somewhat laconic reply was that as the tunnels had already been built it would actually be cheaper to relocate Wakkerstroom than change the line.
When the branch line running from Volksrust through Amersfoort to Bethal was conceived, again the burghers signed a petition that they don't want a station in town. (They never learn, do they?) The railway, most likely, with minimum hesitation, decided to reroute the line so that it would not have to cross the wetland twice. Taking it around the wetland, not having to put up two bridges and long embankments, was much cheaper. I always wondered about this, now I know!

🌞 In the Morning Sun 🌞
I love the early morning sun on my skin, especially on a cool and clear day. This was driving in our favourite natures reserve. It was a fairly big reserve with lot of driving space. On the last photo you can see where the road goes. A behind the scenes shot 😅! This was taken right next to the road not far from the camp site. I really would love to go back, but they’ve become so expensive! Maybe one day we will go again!

🌳 Old Trees 🌴
I love trees. I love even dead trees. Dead trees still standing is for me like nature’s sculptures! Each tree has a story of its own. They represents many years of living through everything nature could throw at them!
We passed this lonely stump on our way to a nature reserve a few years back. Not much to tell here, except it made for a nice prop to use. The story of the day happened later. We saw a nice ruin right next to the road. We used it for a while and the a car drove up! It was a Minister from a nearby church 😲! He saw me posing at the ruin! The ruin belonged to the church, or was on church grounds! I can’t really remember. He was very upset with us 😠! We explained what we do and why we do it. He asked us not to post any of the photos in case anyone recognise the ruin. So far we haven’t posted any of the photos taken there...and it was quite nice photos 😅!
