I’ve been struggling a bit with whether to post about this - but when in doubt, be honest, right? My friends & fans may have noticed I’ve been away for a bit - I’ve been struggling through an ectopic pregnancy which has been quite painful (and full of a lot of emotions). It has also kept me from most of my regular activities and engagement with all of you. I’m actually back in the hospital now doing more follow up as I post this...
I’m okay thankfully - nothing has ruptured. For those of you who may not know, an ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs outside the uterus, and is therefore, not viable. It can be quite serious, and should things not progress as anticipated I still may require surgery, but I’m hopeful as of now that will not be necessary. Because we caught it so early I was still able to be treated with an injection. Now I’m just taking it easy and trying to manage the pain as my body heals.
Hubbs and I already have 3 littles that we adore, and while we weren’t ready to add to our brood again, we sure weren’t prepared for all this. Whether planned or unplanned, well-timed or not, loss is still loss. It’s not fun. We’ve run the gamut the last couple weeks, and we’re both tired.
I miss & love you all. I still have a bit of recovery ahead of me, but I will be back to full strength again within a week or so (hopefully). If you have any positive energy to send my way, I sure would appreciate it ❤️ I’ll see you soon!
