Say hello to my Turtle! I call him “Sabai” it means “relax/easy does it” in Thai. I got him to remind me to breathe, take it slow and take it easy. I have a tendency to rush and to push in life and that can be a good thing, but only when balanced with an understanding that it’s okay to be where I am. That I’m moving forward from a sense of love and not a pit of desire.
Today I encourage at any point that you might remember me, to stop, take a breath, relax your body and tell yourself that you’ve got everything you need in this moment. And then keep on moving a little bit more at ease 😘

I wanted to give a few more close ups of my tattoos and share a little bit about their meaning.
I got my first lighthouse figurine when I was about 5 years old. It sat on my nightstand and I loved it. And had about 15 lighthouse figurines that were actual replicas of existing ones by the time I was 9 because whenever I had the money or the opportunity, that’s the first thing I would buy. Didn’t have too much meaning back then but that developed by the time I was 14-16 where I realized I wanted to be a lighthouse. Metaphorically obviously 😜 but that that felt like my calling, in whatever way I could. How? At that point I didn’t know and maybe I still don’t know and that’s the point. But as I’ve grown older I’ve realized that not just I am a lighthouse, everyone is. We all have the potential for endless light, but it is hidden often times in myself and in others by the painful experiences we go through. And yet, by even one of us being able to share light, we unconsciously allow others to do the same. ❤️
So 6 months ago I got my lighthouse tattoo. And the man who gave it to me added to its meaning. He said: remember, the lighthouse is very tall, very bright, very beautiful. But it’s purpose is to shine to help others, not to be praised. The only good reason to become someone with influence, is to influence in love. I will do my best not to forget any of this.

Would you say you’re more of an introvert or extrovert? People have used these terms on me all my life. I grew up so shy and quiet I was told I was an introvert and that I wouldn’t feel comfortable around people. I grew up a bit and worked hard to develop social skills and learn how to communicate well with others and people told me I was an extrovert, that I was a social butterfly. 😂 I say, I have periods of time when I am a little more this, and a little more that. The label doesn’t matter if the contents are not matched and how can we match a label if we are constantly changing??? Labels are for products. I am not a product. I am a human being. Everyday I am different than the day before and hope to continue to be changing and growing like that forever. ❤️🔥

Sometimes it is the pain, the hurt, the disappointment that points us in the right direction. For some it takes a little and others a lot. I try to be the former but too often find myself pursuing something that isn’t meant for me. Pushing for it because I know not to let it be. But in the aftermath I get back up. See the pain waiting for me back where I started and walk towards it because though it hurts to fail, it is unbearable to give up hope of winning. 🔥❤️💪🏼
