2023-09-16 15:21:59 +0000 UTC View PostLuck be a lady tonight in the Casino De Monte-Carlo baby ! I spent 4 nights in gorgeous Monaco, one of which was in the casino. I bet you didn’t know this casino opened in 1863 🤯 making it the 4th oldest casino in the world. The Monte Carlo is also responsible for inspiring numerous books and films such as the first James Bond novel, Casino Royale, the Bond Movies “Never say Never Again” and “Golden Eye” were all filmed here. Something even more interesting to me is that the locals of Monaco whom are referred to as “monègasque” are banned from gambling inside the casino due to moral reasons and the simple fact the princely family did not want the locals to gamble away their money… awww how thoughtful of them 💕! For those of you planning a visit here, I’ll give you some need to know info : 1.) YOU CAN ONLY ENTER WITH A PASSPORT. PERIOD lol They don’t mess around so bring it. 2.) You have to be 18 years or older to enter 3.) Dressed code is strict, so dress appropriately. Ladies cocktail dresses and chic pant suits would be ideal, but keep it classy nothing to reveling. As for the men, no shorts no flip flops ect … something you would wear to a nice dinner or night club is perfect. 4.) lastly… no pictures at the tables! Take it from me, I had my own little fiasco trying to take a selfie while playing black jack, the monègasque people didn’t like it, had a hard time sweet talking my way out of that one but I got some cute pics as you see above 🤭✨. If you plan on visiting the French Riveria make the time to take the 2 hour drive to Monaco or 15 min helicopter ride, totally worth it.

2023-08-21 21:55:59 +0000 UTC View PostRecognize whats behind me or are you just starting at my behind 🍑😂? You’re looking at the famous Duomo Di Milano cathedral, located in northern Italy. Ι was fortunate enough to see this architectural master piece in person and here are 4 fun facts I learned about the cathedral: 1.) This bad boy took over 6 centuries to build (579 years) they (as in the Aliens 👽) started building in 1386 and completed it in 1965. 2.)The Duomo is the third largest cathedral in the world 3.)Duomo is known for its large displays of gothic and flamboyant gargoyles an figures inside and outside the church, in total there are over 4,000 different statues. 5.) Lastly there are archaeological ruins that still to this day lay under the cathedral. Back in the Roman times, when Milan was known as Mediolanum, there were two churches and a baptistery in the location of the Duomo. Here stood the ancient basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Santa Tecla, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni alle Fonti. The baptistery was the first octagonal-shaped baptistery in Christianity, and St. Augustine was baptized by St. Ambrose on the eve of Easter 397. The remains of St. Tecla and the 8-sided shape of the baptistry are still visible in the archaeological section of the cathedral. This particular part of Duomo is the most interesting to me. If you plan on visiting Milan this is a absolute must see in the city!! - ciao Mila 💋 btw please comment if anyone actually reads my posts 😂

If you’re traveling this summer to the Greek islands definitely stop by and make a reso here, tables are tight so book in advance, this authentic Greek restaurant only has 10 tables and is always in high demand and highly recommend ✨💕 - Filakia Filia
