Went to the gym. Cleaned and did laundry. Purged my rugrats rooms and organized them. Went and met a friend for coffee. We haven’t seen each other in a while but wanted to get together before our birthdays. Did my nails and toes. Went to the pool for what felt like an eternity- the water was freezing. (Side note: as I have gotten older I am less tolerant of cold water. Idk why. Wonder if that’s normal?)
Had in and out for dinner because I did not have the energy to cook. Then had to “mother” some more and give everyone a bath. Then we started watching men in black 3 and that’s where I’m at now. What did you all do today?
Also for those that have been asking/offering well wishes for my mom, THANK YOU! My mom was trying to take one of her dogs for a walk last Friday and she was trying to lock the front door, when she turned around she wasn’t totally ready to go but the dog thought she was and he yanked her causing her to fall, and she fell on her front porch and broke her shoulder. We aren’t sure if she needs shoulder surgery yet, they want to try to immobilize it first. Idk I feel like she’s gonna need surgery. I’ve been shuttling her to doctors appointments all week. We will know more once the orthopedic doctor looks over the additional X-rays next Tuesday.
