Added 2022-08-21 19:13:02 +0000 UTCoh my gosh, you guys š„¹ the last two days here have been nothing short of incredible. i supported my bestie in her first race (she killed it!), went camping, found a new hot spring, and climbed a via ferrata. this experience could not have come at a better time. I received some not so good news on Friday about my health (more on that later), and was feeling the heaviness of it. my best friend knew just how to take it off of my mind. i was so scared, when we clipped to our first anchor I had a hard time clipping into the next one because I was shaking so uncontrollably. i whispered to myself āyou got thisā and after that the climbing became a meditation. we climbed in silence for most of it, and honestly it was perfect. Iāve never felt so connected and grounded to my being, ever. I was talking to @zeta_bb about this- climbing is something SO different from any outdoor activity Iāve ever done. trusting and leaning into yourself is HUGE! and this lesson is something I needed more than I thought. I can trust myself, my body, my mind. Zeta said it perfectly, ātrusting our bodies is the theme for the coming monthsā and we fucking got thisš
