I’ll never forget where I was or what I was doing when the news dropped of Kobe’s death. (Kinda the same when Aaliyah died. You never forget where you were.) We were shooting this set when my bf said someone posted on social media that Kobe had died. We were like, WHAT?? Noooo. It can’t be true! I asked who reported it, when he said TMZ, I knew it was true. TMZ always reports FACTS before even the news knows. 😢 RIP MAMBA!! Jay Williams from ESPN said, “Stop getting upset over things that don’t matter with the people that matter.” It always takes death to remind us of the only thing that’s certain in life. We spend too much time being upset over shit that just DOESN’T matter. Love the people around you, you might not have another chance.
