Business Update: Hey y'all! I was away from home, traveling internationally and domestically, for the past three weeks. You may or may not have been able to tell, since I pre-scheduled a ton of posts and ended up working a lot anyway because it's hard to stop running a small business when you've grown accustomed to hustling. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be doing some more experimenting with how I present and sell my content. It's occurred to me that a lot of people are lazy lol. I've tried doing things like having pinned posts with links to my most popular videos and so on, but apparently people don't read those, and it seems a lot of people don't like to scroll either. It's weird to me because, as a consumer, I always scroll a lot when first joining an OF, and read everything carefully, but apparently not everyone is like that (especially the reading part). So I'm going to start making some compromises on how I want to run my page in order to better match what people's actual behavior seems to be. Or rather, to experiment and see what happens. So you'll start seeing reposts in the feed of content for sale, and the same videos for sale on both my feed and in messages as I try to figure out the right balance and what maximizes post visibility and sales--without being too spammy. Be sure to always check the title of a video to make sure you don't accidentally re-purchase something! Oh, and one last thing: I mentioned before that I might be switching to a subscription-fee based page. That might happen either by the end of this month, or by the end of June (I want to time it so that it coincides with a financial quarter). I'll likely be running another poll about that soon.
