I picked up empty glasses and napkins, straightened up the bar and did some dishes… all while continuing to snack on all the leftover crab & artichoke dip, chips and flatbreads, roasted cashews and candied almonds. there were so many cookies and chocolates and these delicious cheesecake bites a friend of mine brought over. it’s so much easier to eat the leftovers than to find a way to store everything. after I felt I had done enough cleaning, and after I was so full I couldn’t eat another bite, I took half a bottle of sparkling wine with me to get ready for bed. My belly was so tight and swollen after an incredible night with good friends. everyone eating and drinking way too much. slipping out of my tight party clothes was such a relief. I was tired and buzzed but I had to give my belly some much needed attention while polishing off this bottle.
