Added 2022-05-18 19:20:05 +0000 UTCIt was hard to let my dad go fight in a war, he was never in army and never held a rifle before but even before the full-scale invasion he was saying that if Kharkiv got attacked he would go fight. And since they are lacking a lot of ammunition I’m doing everything that I can to find all he needs to stay as protected and equipped as possible. With your help I got him helmet and vest (they did give him vest but it was a lower protection degree, and there are absolutely no spare helmets in Ukraine and impossible to buy, I had to order one from Greece) Never thought I would ever buy things like this but this is my new reality. The longer he’s there the more things he’s responsible for and more things he does, unfortunately more dangerous things. And new equipment I need to get for him. I know there are some of you that want to participate and I’m so thankful for you, however, don’t feel like you have to. These are the items I’m going to get for my dad: 1. AGM Taipan TM 15-256 thermal imaging monocular - $1100 (just found out it costs around $800 in the USA😢 but if I order it here dad will get it within 24 hours and he needs it fast) 2. Collimator rifle scope Hawke Endurance RD 1x25 3 МОА - $250 3. Noise suppressor - $100 As always - I don’t expect this goal to be cleared and I’m getting these things tomorrow no matter what but I’m thankful for all contributions and for everyone that is willing to take a part in my story and my dad’s safety.
