I believe that words can hug us tightly...but alas, words can hurt and betray us. They divide and unite us, destroy and resurrect us. We choose words every day for friends, coworkers, acquaintances and random passersby. We exchange them and express every emotion, thought, feeling. We take a long time to choose them for the most important events, such as a confession or a breakup, we scatter them to the wind during conflicts and quarrels. As children we are told that there are magic words such as "thank you" and "please". But now I realize that the magic ones are quite different....❤️
