It was actually suppose to be a small lower hip one but the tattoo artist had other ideas or intentions. After having children my tattoo was destroyed. I’m not sure why I didn’t consider getting it removed instead of covering it up back then but here we are. I have had over 10+ long sessions to slowly cover and improve a choice I made impulsively at 18 years old. 🫣 This winter I’m going to start targeting some areas with laser removal and get them redone since they didn’t cover well. (The purple rose and pink daisy are first on that list) Just wanted to share the story of why my tattoo is big and dark. I won’t lie it bums me out when people comment meanly about it but at the end of the day it’s not something I can take back or easily change and the coverup does have a lot of meaning to me. Most of the flowers are my children’s birth flowers as well as my own birth flower and forget me nots for my mother.
