Added 2024-08-15 12:29:40 +0000 UTCThis morning, I woke up and the first thing I did was check my phone and social media to see who remembered my birthday. But only my parents and a few distant relatives had sent their wishes. I felt a wave of sadness wash over me 💔
I decided I couldn’t let this day be just another lonely one, so I took matters into my own hands. I grabbed a piece of cardboard, wrote 🎂🎂 "TODAY IT’S MY BIRTHDAY " in big letters, and walked around the city with it. The experience was MIXED — some people gave me hugs and wished me well, while others just passed by without a second glance. But you know what? It made me feel a little better because I took a stand against the loneliness that’s been haunting me.
🎈🎈🎈Today, I REALLY need your support, more than ever. So I’m asking — please wish me a happy birthday under this post so I don’t feel so ALONE. Have you ever spent a birthday feeling this way? ❤️
