All sweepstakes must have a way to enter for free, if it’s pay to enter that makes it a lottery which is regulated by the government. Now you may be thinking but I see people do games all the time! Well here’s the thing, if you’re doing a pay to play game, like for example spin the wheel, you have to give out the same content to everyone regardless of what they win. They are paying for the content, the spin the wheel is just a bonus. I’ve also seen that if you make all the prizes at least worth the cost of the entry fee then that’s okay too, but I prefer the method of everyone gets the same content regardless and the spin in extra for fun. But that’s just my two cents on games. Not my sexiest post but an important one for fellow creators. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Xo
