And when those words come from a man, the implication is that he is doing something right, while she is doing something wrong. So many women are terrified to disclose when they’ve been raped because they’ve been raised to believe that sex is wrong… that it is a sin. And then they hear these words from men… which reinforces the societal standard that they are dirty and impure. *** Sex is never wrong. It is never dirty or naughty. It is natural.
