🌞 Sunny Day 🌞 This was taken next to the road leading into "Die Hel", also known as Gamkaskloof. Gamkas means "Lion" in the Koisan languange and a kloof is a "valley" in Afrikaans. They call this place "The Hell" not because it is so warm, but because of the road. There are two stories about where the name "Die Hel" came from. One is because of the steep incline of the road. The Afrikaans word "helling" means steep incline. The other famous story is that an animal inspector named Piet Botha visited the valley in the 40's, and he called his experience to get here as "hell". Have a great sunny day everyone! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life, and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine. – Thomas Jefferson
