It is close to the little town of Pella, in the Namaqualand area. The night before we slept on the ground because the inflatable matrass had a hole π². But we survived the night! The Quiver tree or Kokerboom, is a tall, branching species of succulent plant, indigenous to Southern Africa, specifically in the Northern Cape region of South Africa, and parts of Southern Namibia. The quiver tree gets its English common name from the San peopleβs practice of hollowing out the tubular branches of the tree to form quivers for their arrows. Medicinally, the roots can be used to treat asthma and tuberculosis. Have a great evening everyone. πππππππππππ
