Dense and dark and coolly calm, Heart's serenity, nature's balm. And carpeted grounds to walk upon To meditate flitting papillon! Branching limbs of trees so tall, And a green canopy covers all. Jade and emerald and occasionally lime, This is the wood that outlasted time. A vibrant green that's seen no change And like all beauty, it's strange. (adapted)
