**The Desxualization of Woman After Menopause- AND BODY IMAGE/SELF-LOVE** Stretch marks after childbirth, weight gain/loss, and cellulite are common in almost every woman, especially after 50. Some folks are blessed with amazing genetics, but most of us are **not** and that is perfectly *ok*. The desexualization of women after a *certain age* is a barrier we must break as the general population of the world grows older. Youth and thin bodies do not represent many of us and we're still beautiful, even if society only glorifies almost impossible standards of 'perfection'. I am in an introspective mood tonight. I have to start my diet again after spending most of the summer neglecting self-care. Three family members (my elderly parents and sister) fell gravely ill and I simply *stopped* my workouts and diet regimen. I felt ashamed to take photos, but after doing a massive photo shoot tonight, felt immediately better. Yes, I am back on the healthy lifestyle wagon. Yes, I am still beautiful, even as a 'typical' woman of my age (53.5). Celebrate the beauty in you and check your DMs for the rest of this insanely huge photo dump I did tonight xoxo, Jess
